A pleasant summer in Chicago. A pleasant trip to the annual Newberry Library book fair. Flipping through numerous donated books. Dog earred and dusty volumes. A few pearls strewn about. A room of maps and posters...and he was there. Andrew Wyeth(poster). For those of you who don't know of him, he was an American painter, he painted warm portraits and stark landscapes. I wrote about him in a September blog. Today he is dead. Now go learn of him and make him a legend!
